This policy explains how Beaulah House Consulting Ltd (company no. 10201582, England & Wales) (“we”, “us”) handles data in the Beaulah Accounts software (the “Software”), including its QuickBooks Online integration. We are the data controller for the purposes of the UK GDPR. Contact: info@beaulah.ch.
When you connect a QuickBooks Online company, the Software accesses accounting data in that
company through Intuit’s API under the com.intuit.quickbooks.accounting scope. This
can include invoices, customers, items, accounts, tax codes and company metadata (such as the
company realm ID). It also processes supplier invoice documents that the operator supplies to it.
We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties except the processors below.
Authorisation tokens issued by Intuit are stored locally on the operator’s own machine with restricted file permissions and are used only to call Intuit’s API on your behalf. We do not store your QuickBooks password. Invoice source documents are processed on the operator’s own systems.
We retain access tokens only while a connection is active. When you disconnect the Software, the token is invalidated and the locally cached copy is deleted. Accounting records created in your QuickBooks Online company remain in your company file under your control.
Under the UK GDPR you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold, and may object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, or to complain, contact us at info@beaulah.ch. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
You can revoke access at any time from QuickBooks Online (Settings → Apps) or your Intuit account. See our Disconnect page.
